Born in China, fluent both in English and Chinese, Mrs Qiu is specialised in bridging Australia with China, both at corporate and government levels.

Since her migration to Australia in 1996, Mrs Qiu has been active in Australia − China bilateral trade and investment. In the last 22 years, Mrs Qiu has been assisting Australian businesses with their strategic engagement with China. Companies Mrs Qiu has been associated with or worked with are from the sectors of government relations and corporate advisory; energy and resources; property development; building and construction; telecommunication; aviation and manufacturing; medical devices and health care; product design and engineering; government agencies and industry peak bodies.
Mrs Qiu has held a number of roles, including Senior Advisor of China Chamber of Commerce in Australia (CCCA); a member of NSW Multicultural Business Advisory Panel; founding President of Australian Chinese Professionals Association; an Advisor to an Australian political leader on economic and trade affairs with China; Australia Representative of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission and a Committee member of Australian Institute of Company Directors’ 2011 Beijing Conference.
